What Are You Seeking? Taizé Young Adult Retreat

Taize row of Candles

Join us for a weekend of prayer and reflection with Br. Emile of Taize. The weekend will include Taize prayer, time for silent reflection, group workshops and bible study, and sharing meals together.

We will reflect on Jesus’ question in John’s Gospel: What are you seeking? Brother Matthew, the Prior of Taize, has written a letter for 2026 where he asks us to consider this question and provides ways for us to pray, reflect, and act on our answers.

How does our present situation compel us to pause and consider this question?

Are we seeking Meaning, Silence, Direction, Joy, Justice, Hope, Community, Peace?

How can we find the courage to begin answering the question Jesus asks?

Brother Emile has been a leader and teacher in the Taizé community since 1976.

Hope Harvest 2026

Hope for the Journey

This year, we have a special Hope Harvest planned for Sunday, October 18 from 4 to 7pm.

We will celebrate Mariandale’s 50th year as sacred ground and spiritual home to so many. Hope for the Journey is the theme. This anniversary year, launching on September 8, 2026, will take us on a new journey, where we stop to appreciate the past and those who came before us, and to look forward to the future with hope.

We’ll honor some of our most revered friends who share in our mission and helped to develop the Center over the last 50 years.

You’ll enjoy beer, wine, and mocktails, seasonal fare, live music, raffles, gift baskets, and more!  There will be an open bar, a splendid sunset, and a special gathering of our community.

Our Honorees are Don Bisson, FMS;  Janet Corso; and Open Arms for Refugees.

Kacey Morabito Grean will be our Master of Ceremonies.  Kacey is a former radio professional and host who shared the helm of the Mike & Kacey in the Morning radio show on WHUD for years.  Kacey is the Executive Director of the Holy Mountain Retreat Center at Graymoor, and brings highly successful women’s retreats to Mariandale twice per year.  Kacey is also the Founder of the Let it Shine Foundation, which helps women in need and runs a food pantry and thrift store.

Tickets and Sponsorships are on sale now. Please make payments for tickets and sponsorships here:  Hope Harvest Landing page
