Family Workshop Series
Join us for a two-part family workshop series with Ridvan Idara! You are welcome to join as a couple or an individual for either or both sessions.
If you are not local to Ossining, you are also welcome to register for Zoom as this will be a hybrid workshop. During this time together, we will seek to build community and conversation around concerns that face families in our world today.
Workshop 1: Reclaiming Connection in a Screen-Saturated World
Sunday, September 20th from 2 to 4:30pm
In an era where digital noise is constant, finding a healthy balance for our families can feel like an uphill battle. This workshop offers a deep dive into the impact of social media and excessive screen time on developing brains, and our own. Beyond just identifying the risks, we will explore practical tools and strategies to set meaningful limits and foster real-world engagement. Join us to discover how you can navigate the age of technology with intention, moving from digital distraction toward a more present, connected, and balanced family life.

Workshop 2: A Vision of Race Unity in America
Wednesday, November 11 from 9 to 11:30am
Join us for an immersive workshop designed to bridge the gap between America’s complex history and our collective future. By exploring the historical context of our nation's racial divide, we gain the clarity needed to move beyond temporary fixes toward genuine, lasting solutions. This session pivots from "how we got here" to "where we go now," focusing on how to build a shared vision of unity within our own communities.
