By exploring the historical context of our nation's racial divide, we gain the clarity needed to move beyond temporary fixes toward genuine, lasting solutions. This session pivots from "how we got here" to "where we go now," focusing on how to build a shared vision of unity within our own communities.

Fee for Individual Workshop: $25/person or $40/couple. Hybrid Option: $25 on zoom.

About the Presenter:

Ridvan Idara is the Founder and Executive Director of New Era Creative Space (NECS), a non-profit organization based in Peekskill, New York, that she established in 2013. With over two decades of experience, Ridvan is an educator, licensed occupational therapist, and certified Positive Discipline parent educator dedicated to empowering youth through creative, therapeutic, and leadership-oriented programs.

Under her visionary leadership, NECS has become a hub for social action and artistic expression, offering multidisciplinary programs that integrate the arts with personal and community growth. Ridvan’s work is deeply rooted in the belief that education can enable individuals to realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to society. Her efforts have earned her significant recognition, including being named a Woman of Distinction and being honored by the Westchester County Board of Legislators.
