DESCRIPTION: When faith stops being something we do and becomes something we are at our core, we feel unshakably held.\n\nThe economy might fluctuate. Health issues may arrive for ourselves or a loved one. A once close friendship might fade away. We have the capacity to meet the needs of the hour, rather than feeling like the needs of the hour are happening to us. The question is never how do we get more faith. The question is always how do we create the conditions to remember what has been true all along. We remember by leaning on those who came before us, both within our family tree and the tree of life, where our spiritual ancestors within the church live.\n\nIn this workshop, we will become living ancestors, held in our faith:\n\n- Melt the heart and body to taste surrender\n- Name what we inherited, from our families and the church, and find where it already holds us\n- Use our imagination to take in what nourishes us, letting the rest be released\n- Grow our discernment skills by using our attention to both ask and receive\n\nWomen only. She leads women into a faith that already holds them in and through the body. For 25 years, she has served faith-based communities in the U.S., Europe, and Africa. She holds a Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame, along with 600+ hours of training in Ayurveda, yoga, and trauma-informed care. After years of being the one who held everything together, her body revolted and initiated her into a deeper understanding of faith and how God communicates through the body.
