Mary Mitchell, OP, was the visionary behind the creation of The Mariandale Center. She remained at the heart of Mariandale until her death in 1995. She had a particular concern for abuse victims and for women. The fund has been established to provide assistance for women who are unable to afford Mariandale retreats and services.

Eligiblility for the Mary Mitchell Memorial Fund Scholarships

Who is eligible to receive scholarships from the fund? Among other criteria, Mary Mitchell funds usually go to women in need of spiritual guidance, women who are victims of abuse, and women who are economically disadvantaged. We welcome additional contributions to the Mary Mitchell Memorial Fund.

The frequency for receiving funds for any one person is limited to one time per year, for programs and retreats. The amount available for each person will depend upon the individual situation. For an application and further information, please contact our Front Desk at info@mariandale.org
