This weekend you are invited to steep in God's love shining through the created world. Using poetry, contemplative practices, our imaginations, and time outside on the beautiful Mariandale land, we will slow down, pay attention, and open ourselves to a deeper awareness of the holy all around us. Our explorations of the landscape will be leisurely, but for your comfort, please bring comfortable walking shoes, water bottle, bug spray, and sunblock. The instructor will have binoculars, magnifying lenses, camp stools, and whatever else she can think of, to share.

Each day will also include time for personal reflection, group sharing and use of the pool here at Mariandale. This retreat is appropriate both for those who attended last year's 'Encountering God's Love in Nature' retreat and for those who haven't.

Holly Rockwell is an Ignatian prayer guide, spiritual director and retreat leader at Estuary Soul Care. In 2014, she was certified as a Master Naturalist by Cornell University's Conservation Education and Research Program. She has a deep and abiding love for nature and finds God in all of creation.
