When we give voice to our words, writing is transformed into authenticity. At this workshop, we'll explore how to capture moments into real or fictional stories through prompts, suggestions, and visuals.

Group sharing is encouraged but optional. Please bring a favorite pen and notebook to write with and let your creativity flow.

You are welcome to come early or stay late to walk the grounds, or just find a spot to sit and enjoy the Hudson River view.

About the Presenter:

Karen Rippstein, CPT, began her career at New York Medical College before becoming a Certified Poetry Therapist, poet, and creative writing teacher. She has taught writing, poetry, and visual journaling workshops at colleges, spirituality centers, libraries, senior centers, and inter-generational programs at area schools. Karen's work has been published in numerous anthologies and magazines.
