We can make the last week of our Lenten Journey more meaningful by meditating on the seven last words spoken by Jesus from the Cross. Through prayer, reflection, and music, we are drawn more deeply into the Paschal Mystery, the gift of God's unconditional love for us

• "Woman, behold your son; son, behold your mother." (John 19:26-27)
• "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34)
• "I thirst." (John 19:28)
• "It is finished." (John 19:30)
• "Into your hands I commend my spirit." (Luke 23:46)

About the Presenter:

Carol Mackey is new to Mariandale but has been involved in pastoral ministry for almost thirty years. She is a certified spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and bereavement counselor. A retired teacher, Carol is the mother of two grown children and grandmother to three precious little ones—all of whom teach her so much about God's unconditional love.
