A retreat weekend for adults under 45
Do you find yourself in a career that does not connect to your deeper purpose in life? Spend a few days in the quiet, reflective space of Mariandale to explore the purpose you seek in your career and to create an action plan for better aligning your work with the things you value the most. Finding purpose in a career starts with who we are and who we want to become. Guided by career coach, Kate Addicott, participants will explore these questions:
- What kind of work lights us up and makes us feel fulfilled?
- What matters most to us in life?
- How might our careers reflect our deepest concerns?
Through an array of exercises and discussions, participants will push beyond the usual roundup of value words and create actionable questions to evaluate whether an opportunity aligns with our value.
The weekend's activities will include group discussions, journal exercises, 1:1 dialogue and quiet time for oneself.
The 61-acre, scenic property, situated overlooking the Hudson River, offers trails for walking and ample opportunity to connect with nature. By the end of the weekend participants will create actions steps designed to advance purpose-driven and value-centered career pathways.
