In the midst of winter, when much of creation burrows deeply to rest and gain strength for the next season of life, accept the invitation to "burrow deep" in the heart of God, and like Mary, ponder God's revelations within you.

Gentle quiet will frame these days and will include time for prayer, rest, and refreshment of your spirit, as well as individual meetings with a spiritual director.

The retreat begins with dinner on Thursday at 6 pm (may arrive as early as 3 pm) and ends with brunch on Sunday.

About the Spiritual Directors:

Nancy Erts, OP is a Dominican Sister of Hope and the Program Specialist at The Center at Mariandale. She holds degrees in education ad theology and has completed additional work in psychology, holistic and eco-spirituality. She has been involved in the ministry of adult spiritual development for over 35 years.

Maureen McMahon, RDC is a Sister of the Divine Compassion. Her background includes teaching, administration, and parish work. For over 40 years she has been an experienced spiritual director, retreat leader and presenter. Included in this ministry she has participated in training both religious and lay people to be spiritual directors.

Judy Schiavo holds an MA in Secondary Education/Spanish from Seton Hall University and an MS in Spirituality/Spiritual Direction from Fordham University. Judy is currently a full-time spiritual director and retreat leader, after retiring from 43 years of teaching.

Amy Sucich, LCSW-R has a long history of deep listening as a trained social worker. She is currently a spiritual director and retreat facilitator and an active member of the Mariandale community.
